So life has been crazy/fun/exhausting (buggard)/and unbelievable! I have class starting at 830 and I have labs up to 530pm! Its a LONG day and a LOT of information! Not to mention I HAVE to study every night just to keep up with the flow of content! Thank goodness that I have seen most of the information being presented already! :D I can't imagine how intense life is going to be when we get to content that I have NOT seen before! AHH
Taking a few months off school (around 9) has made for an intense case of study shock! As intense as it, I am LOVING EVER SECOND OF IT!!
Also attended my first after school Vet School event today and met a lot of AWESOME second year vet students! :D and had pizza of course because no one has an event without food! ha
And Anatomy is going to turn me into an artist I hope! :) LOTS of drawing! Enjoy my directional cow!

Map of Where I Live and Explore
> The Little red circle is the ENTIRE school property! Brian and I walked the entire thing (another blog post unfortunately) and let us tell you... ITS HUGE!! The picture below helps a little!
> The BLUE circle is Freo and where we go swimming and one day soon will take a walking tour and take a BUNCH of photos! :D One of the oldest Victorian Port Cities left and has been restored to keep its charm! We can wait to check out the famous weekend market [around 150 vendors], especially Sunday's after 4:30 has cheaper and better deals!
> The Pink circle is the Perth city center and so far Brian and I have only seen it from the airplane and when we were crossing the river on our way to the wildlife park!
> The BLACK circle is where the wildlife park is at!
> Rottnest island is where Brian and I hope to spend our first two day vacation in the future. Its an island only 30 mins away by ferry and NO motor vehicles are allowed on the island. We also heard there is a place where you can swim or at least see bottlenosed dolphins! So we plan to spend a weekend when we have the funds and rent bicycles and explore! :) We will let everyone know when in the next five years that will happen! :D
The Wetland reserve is still intact and the university farm surrounds 2 sides of it with campus on the third side! I'll show more pictures later and pictures from inside the reserve as well. Brian and I try to walk it at least 3 times a week! Its soooo peaceful and we get to see the 100s of university farm animals! And they all get sooo much room!! :D Its Absolutely stunning!!

Caversham Wildlife Park
So on Friday Feb. 15 the International Team at Murdoch took any international students (and Brian) who paid $10 on a coach bus [4 buses in total] to Caversham Wildlife park! All I can tell you was that it was about an hour north of Murdoch Uni (which is south of the swan river) and North of Perth City Center (north of the swan river). It was an amazing facility. I just wish the birds had more enrichment! They all looked too bored and were scratching and pacing. It was also 103degrees F (39-40 C).
About Caversham:
- Family owned and operated
- 200 species represented
- Is officially recognized by Australian Zoos, has bred its own wombats, koalas, and cassowaries
- The park has 6 sections:
> North East Australia [tropical]
>South West Australia [including Perth]
> North Australia [most arid region]
> South East Australia [ represents coastal, forest, and mountainous regions]
> Kangaroo Enclosure
>Molly's Farm
