Happy Pi Day everyone (3.14...March 14th, get it?) - I sadly did not eat ANY pie today in celebration and I am QUITE upset about this fact! :( anyone wanna bring me pie?
However, today ended up being a LOT of fun! went to lectures, got my brand new iPhone to work after buying ANOTHER SIM card and being on hold forever and finally just driving the store, tried these natural beeswax ear cleaning candles for the first time! So gross at the amount of crap that comes out of what I thought was clean ears but amazing! and went back to campus to enjoy the Thank Goodness its Friday BBQ (had a cider and amazing salads) played with puppy dogs and saw a bunny, then went to the Herpatological Society talk and got to play with pythons! The handler said he has to feel comfortable enough to let these snakes be handled by 3 year olds for presentations and he demonstrated their tameness by sticking the snakes head in his mouth!! it was nuts! but snake handling is amazing!!! Then there was a break for pizza and more free alcohol :) and then the last talk of the night was on ferrets and the presenter was HILARIOUS!! I would love to work for him he was so funny!! :) It was a really great night! And to end it our landlord has allowed my roommate to adopt the bunny that she has sponsored through one of my classmates bunny rescue! :) ANIMALS!!! <3
