Forgotten Post
Hey Everyone!
I forgot to share how delusional I got while studying so much!
I had to remember the symptoms of a disease called Horners Syndrome and this is all I could think of in the wee hours of the morning. I must admit that it definitely came up in my exam again and I smiled because the memory tricked worked! :)
Here is the insight to my craziness:
Horner Syndrome = S.I.M.P - Squirrels In My Pants
Sweating - in horses
ENophthalmos - recession of eyeball into the orbit
MIosis - pupil constriction
Prolapse of the 3rd eyelid
Ptosis - dropping of the eyelids
Here is the music video that played in my head while I took my exam:

And yes, I will gladly admit to watching Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel with Brian because it is a very creative show! And its got Perry The Platypus (Agent P) so how could we resist?!

Saying Goodbye
Today my family lost one of the most precious souls I have ever met. It was an honor for me to have her as my Aunt Butchie. Fran Kunkel was one so kind, gracious, and awe-inspiring. I have never seen her without a smile on her face and being half a world a way it is really hard to grasp that her soul has gone onto a better place. She was fighting a very aggressive form of cancer with an unknown origin. She was so healthy and was gone before we knew it. I am happy to have one of the most supportive and tight-knit families that ever exists and their strength will get us all through this difficult time. I know Aunt Butchie was so proud of where I am and what I am doing with my life. I will continue to make her proud! Beyond this I am at a loss of words….. not being able to say a personal goodbye makes for a very heavy heart.
Your smile and laugh will forever be contagious and wrapped around my heart!
She inspired so many people world-wide, this is what a family friend did in support of her cancer fight while deployed overseas!
Aunt Butchie and Uncle Larry renewing their wedding vows! I am so happy to call them family! And her Daughter Heidi on the right of the picture was able to tell her the name they chose for their unborn daughter before Aunt Butchie's passing - Abigail Frances!
Here is the Animal of the Day in your honor Aunt Butchie:
